Use bodily sensations to gain insight into mental and emotional states for growth, healing and change. Learn to combine touch, postures and Rogerian dialogue to guide a client’s experience.

In this workshop, you will learn how to:

• Engage clients in body/mind processes and experiences with dialogue
• Work within professional boundaries to provide a safe container while using touch and movement
• Help clients convert body awareness into empowered life changing action.

Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy Certification Program

Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy for Mental Health Professionals
Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy is a body-mind approach to yoga therapy utilizing the concept of embodied mindfulness. The Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy core curricula will introduce you to the basic concepts, fundamental postures, and empathetic dialogue techniques required to practice the Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy modality. Students enrolled in the program for Mental Health Professionals are provided with specially tailored assignments and a dedicated professional Mentor during their Level 3 practicum.

Format: 4 Residential intensive course sessions, plus 9 month mentored practicum
