Condé Nest Traveler has rated Charleston the #1 city in the United States, 5 years in a row. Known for our rich history, well-preserved architecture, celebrated restaurants, beautiful beaches and southern hospitality, Charleston is a special place sure to steal your heart.

Since our town welcomes visitors year round, you’ll easily find rentals on airbnb.com, vrbo.com and craigslist.com.

Travel Info

Airport: Charleston International Airport (CHS), www.iflychs.com

From the airport we recommend renting a car or taking an uber. We are happy to help connect students with other trainees for car sharing and/or arranging transportation to/from the airport.

You’ll want to arrive and depart the studio via a vehicle, although it is completely possible if staying close by to bike/walk. Once downtown or at any of the local beaches, bike rentals are available and a good way to enjoy all the city has to offer.
