Yoga, Buddhism, and Modern Psychology – the practical application of ancient wisdom to modern life.

This course reflects the practical application of ancient wisdom to modern life. It covers the essential themes of philosophy from the teachings of ancient Vedic yogis and the Buddha to the development of western philosophy, contemporary psychology and neuroscience. This course uses therapeutic yoga practice as a way to embody the aspects of the philosophies covered and gives the students a reference for what matters in their life and service.

Format: This course will be ONLINE in 2021. All of our online webinar courses are conducted in real time with live faculty-student interaction. Attendance during the live webinar, as scheduled, is required.

Prerequisites: None. Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy Essentials is highly recommended.
