This course introduces the student to the fundamental elements of facilitating the Phoenix Rising method for an individual or group yoga experience. By using the physical experience of yoga as a portal, students learn to facilitate the deeper elements of embodied self-inquiry to gain insight and awareness into beneficial life changes. Students learn to overlay inclusive, adaptable, and trauma sensitive instruction with educational, present-centered, embodiment coaching that leads to deeper awareness of the connection between one’s physical experience and one’s life experience. This course is highly experiential including delivery of public classes, peer teaching and observation, and self-evaluation and self-mentoring.
